G30 project Mohe winter calibration & winter adaptability test

Northeast, Northwest and North China have long winters, low temperature and heavy snowfall. At the same time, these areas have a wide range, accounting for 51.5% of my country’s land area, 34% of my country’s total population, and 44% of the country’s car ownership. Therefore, the impact of my country’s alpine environment on the use of automobiles cannot be ignored. The purpose of the vehicle regional adaptability test is to study the performance of the vehicle under external environmental stimuli (influence). In alpine regions, material icing, embrittlement, physical shrinkage and other characteristics will lead to problems such as low cruising range, difficult charging, vehicle virtual mark, material hardening, loss of elasticity, increased wear, and seal failure.

Mohe City is located at the northern foot of the Daxing’an Mountains, on the right bank of the upper reaches of Heilongjiang River, with a total area of 18,233 square kilometers. It is located at 121°07′-124°20′ east longitude and 52°10′-53°20′ north latitude. North Pole”. Mohe has a long and cold winter. It officially enters winter from the end of October every year and continues until the end of March of the next year, when the ice and snow begin to melt. The average temperature during the daytime in winter can reach -28.7℃.

The calibration team of Jinzhi New Energy Vehicle Industry Co., Ltd. started all the way north on February 24, 2022, and arrived at the calibration site in Mohe City, Daxing’anling area safely two days later. It was cold and windy, and the temperature stood still at -27°C. The air here is crisp, the sky is blue and magnificent, and the discomfort of the cold is briefly forgotten.

On the second day after the calibration team checked into the hotel, the two calibration vehicles were also safely transported to Mohe City. After some inspections, the intense calibration work began.

The following tests and calibrations are carried out in strict accordance with the calibration process. The specific items are: low-temperature slow charging test, low-temperature fast charging test, low-voltage signal debugging, low-voltage power-on of the whole vehicle, communication, frequent power-on and power-off test of the vehicle, identification of motor initial position angle, MCU enable signal confirmation, MCU active discharge test, static Current test, resolver fault simulation, gear drive calibration, motor overtemperature secondary and tertiary fault simulation, bus overvoltage fault simulation, MCU enable signal confirmation, cruising range test (empty, full load), cold zone power test, coasting energy Feedback test, light brake energy feedback test, torque step calibration when feedback and drive switching, etc.

All calibration test items require long-term data analysis and combing at the coldest time of the day. Keeping warm is the first priority. People need to keep warm, and computers also need to keep warm.

After 20 days of intense calibration work, the current vehicle can already meet the daily needs of customers using vehicles in winter. We keep in mind to create and enjoy value for users, we remember that the way of life and death lies in the product, we do not forget the spirit of hard work, hard work and quick progress, and we adhere to the concept of merit and demerit that no merit is fault, and mediocrity is wrong.

A group of people, a dream, you and I are both dream chasers of national auto brands. On the way to chase dreams, we are also dreamers. For the same dream, we strictly control the last step of product development.
